WHAT WAS THE INS'PAW'RATION FOR THE PUGS N STRIPES COLLECTION?
I created Pug Parties to make it easier for Pug Pawrents to find clothing and accessories that fit their pugs perfectly — first time, every time. But even with my years of pug expertise and shopping experience, I struggled to find suppliers who truly understood the unique needs of our beloved squishy-faced friends.
So, I took matters into my own paws! 🐾 I set out to design a dress and t-shirt that wouldn’t just fit pugs comfortably and practically, but would also be pugtastically stylish — because let’s be real, our puggies were born to stand out in a crowd! 😍🐶✨

Creating a 'pug sized' pattern
2020-2024
There’s no such thing as a dog clothing pattern specifically designed for brachycephalic breeds—so we had to create one from scratch! 🐾✂️ That meant measuring hundreds of Pugs to determine the perfect sizing ratio, designing and refining the block pattern (the foundation for all our outfits), and hosting size testing days with our Pug Supermodels to make sure every fit was as close to pawfect as possible. 🐶✨Because when it comes to pug fashion, only the best fit will do! ❤️🐾
Finding the pawfect fabric
2023-24
While developing and testing the pattern, we were also on the hunt for the pawfect fabric and print. 🎨🐾 We needed something light and breathable, sustainable, stretchy yet durable, and, of course, with a pugtastic color palette!After countless searches, we found the perfect match—a fabric that met all our needs and allowed us to create our very own custom print! 🎉 But we didn’t do it alone…
Say goodbye to itchy, scratchy labels!
2024
There’s nothing worse than a scratchy fabric label pulling at your fur and irritating your skin! 😖🐾 That’s why we searched high and low to find the pawfect heat transfer labels for all our collections—no more itchy tags! 🙌✨Plus, we placed the label at the bottom of the outfit on the back, so your Pawrent can check the size and care instructions without taking it off — how smart is that?! 😍

Launching Pugs n Stripes felt like unwrapping a present we’d been keeping secret for too long — seeing it go from idea to reality had us snorting with joy and we've loved getting your feedback on the fit, the style and functionality of it all.

We may not always have control over the shipper, but we do have control over our packaging! 📦✨ That’s why we use HERO PACKAGING to send out your purchases—because sustainable shipping matters! 💚♻️
Compostable mailers, fondly known as HEROPACKs (shipping bags) or HEROBUBBLEs (padded shipping bags), are used to ship products to customers.
Unlike traditional shipping mailers, these are NOT made from single use plastic. The mailers are made from 30% plant-based materials such as PLA and 70% from a certified compostable material called PBAT (a synthetic bonding agent).

Where we can, we're shipping your order with SENDLE - an Australian-owned shipping company that also ships carbon neutral!!
When we can't ship with SENDLE, we're shipping with Australia Post.

The Pugs n Stripes collection is using recycled polyester fabric—to reduce our environmental impact while keeping your puggies extra comfy and stylish! 🌍💚🐶
Recycled polyester (rPET) is made from recycled plastic materials like water bottles, discarded polyester fabrics, and industrial waste—giving new life to what would otherwise be waste!
Why Use Recycled Polyester?
